Ben Boucher - Poet of Dudley - bronze statue


At the preliminary clay stage in John McKenna's Ayrshire studio



The advanced clay stage, just prior to moulding for wax production, John McKenna' studio.


Then after the clay was moulded a wax impression was taken and reassembled, see above green wax being assembled by McKenna. Once waxwork assembled, corrected, surface dressed then the final wax impression was cast into bronze,

bronze cast bead blasted clean, then applying a chemical patina colour to the clean bronze cast surface
